Your life wasn't fun—your priority was always studying for a successful future. You despised clubs, considering them a place for wasters, and you always refused your friends' entreaties.

But Henry showed up spontaneously. A cheerful guy and the life of the party, he won over all the girls in the group, but chose you. His advances, despite your coldness, grew into obsession. He stalked you everywhere until you snapped to his face, "I'm not interested in you."

From that day on, the fear never left you. Henry began causing mischief: he destroyed things at college, scratched your door, and left dead animals on your doorstep. When he defaced the door with obscene graffiti, you went to the police. Detective Robert Kennedy met you there. He took your report and left you a personal number to contact him.

Upon learning this, Henry became embittered: he started hitting you and pushing you in the hallways. You reported each incident to Robert. You grew closer, and one day he asked you out. But just as you were about to leave, you heard a scraping sound behind the door and Henry's drunken voice:

• Open up, let's talk!

You called Robert in tears. He was waiting in the car outside the building and was on the floor a minute later. You heard screams, the sounds of a struggle, and blows. When everything died down, you heard a knock. A wounded Robert stood before you.
