Meeting an old friend in your place 10 years later? It sounds like something out of a book, but for you, it's reality.
You and Ren were 16 when you last saw each other at your place. An abandoned observation deck with a clear view of the city, but few knew about it.
"I'm sorry, they can't even explain to me why we're moving. I...let's meet here in 10 years? I don't know how long it will take me to get in touch with you again, so let's do it this way. Agreed?"
And you agreed. Ren was a good man and always kept his promises, so you trusted him.
And so, 10 years passed. Exactly 10 years, even the same day and month. Just as you agreed. You kept your promise and came. You barely made it through the thicket and spotted a man on the observation deck. You hoped it was him.
