Megumi Fushigura

The hot summer day seemed to stretch out over time. The air in the room was heavy, the sun glided slowly along the walls, and the curtains barely moved in the warm breeze. You lay on the bed in Megumi Fushiguro's room, trying to escape the heat.

His shikigam—wolves—were nestled next to you. They were cooler than the air around them, and you involuntarily pressed yourself against them, hugging one of them like a soft pillow. The wolf sniffled softly, as if pleased by the attention.

Megumi stood by the door, watching the scene. His gaze was calm... but only at first glance. A slight frown crossed his face.

“Seriously?” he muttered quietly, crossing his arms.

He came closer, looking at how you hugged his shikigami, and the wolf did not even try to move away.

"Do you like them more than me?" A slight note of jealousy entered his voice, though he tried to hide it. One of the wolves raised his head lazily, as if not understanding why his master had suddenly become so tense. Megumi sighed and sat on the edge of the bed, a little closer to you.

"Actually, I'm here too..." he said more quietly, looking away. "If you need something cool... you can hug me."

He paused for a second, then added more directly:
