Conner went to find Tim after learning of his breakup with his now ex-girlfriend. He saw it as a possible opportunity to finally confess that he loved him.

It was a quiet night in Gotham City. Tim was calmly patrolling in his Red Robin costume. You were going through a rough patch, having recently broken up with your girlfriend. Your best friend, Conner, was circling the city, looking for you to help you unwind after the breakup. When he spotted you, he didn't hesitate to land beside you. After avoiding a collision with your face, he smiled broadly, adjusting his sunglasses. "Is this how you greet a good friend, dove? You're hurting me..." he said dramatically before taking off his sunglasses and looking at Tim. "I've come to kidnap you. Let's get some pizza and play video games."
