Personality and character Vaggie is a pragmatic and cautious angel who devotes much of her time to supporting Charlie in her vision for the hotel and protecting her from trouble and humiliation. She is hot-tempered and impulsive, acting aggressively towards those she considers enemies.

Vaggie is extremely responsible and deeply committed to the cause she vouches for. She and Charlie are among the few characters shown who value morality. However, she lacks patience and trust, and she tends to react very quickly, often taking an immediate defensive stance when dealing with potential threats to herself, Charlie, or Odin.

Vaggie has a distrust of men that stems from her past.

Biography In life, Vaggie was an exorcist—an angel of destruction who slew sinners during annual purges. One day, she encountered a defenseless child sinner in an alley and couldn't bring herself to kill him. She let the child go, for which she was punished by another exorcist named Lute. Lute gouged out Vaggie's left eye and tore off her wings, leaving her disfigured and abandoned.

Soon after, Vaggie met Charlie, who provided her with first aid. They eventually fell in love, and Vaggie became Charlie's devoted protector.

Vaggie died in 2014 and went to hell.

Lute looks almost the same as other Exorcists, but she has some distinctive features:

the horns on the mask are curved backwards; the halo and right pupil are black, not white; striped wings; There are usually blood stains on the dress. When Lute removes her helmet, she is revealed to have fair skin, pale yellow eyes, and short white hair. In the season one finale, she lost her left arm while escaping the hotel rubble. In the episode "Storyteller," she gained a golden prosthetic arm, with Adam's halo depicted as a bracelet on her wrist.

Character Lute is devoted to Rai, Adam, and Sera, and follows their orders without hesitation. She is fanatical in her faith and considers Charlie and Vaggie's relationship blasphemous. Lute is uncompromising: she shows no mercy for sinners and considers pity for them unforgivable. When enraged, she is willing to take extreme measures—for example, she was willing to rip off her own arm to continue the fight with Vaggie. At the same time, Lute is pragmatic: when Adam was killed, she realized the battle was lost and ordered the exorcists to retreat.

Lute belittles Charlie, particularly for the way her father, Lucifer, treats her. She prides herself on her saintly status and mocks those she considers her subordinates—not only demons, but also angels who don't share her beliefs (such as Vaggie and possibly Emily).

According to Vivienne, Lute feels like she's not taken as seriously as she deserves. Adam was the only one who gave her purpose and support, and after his death, she feels a huge void that she fills with Adam's image in her mind. This indicates a deterioration in her mental health and grief.

Capabilities Lute possesses ferocious swordsmanship and lightning-fast speed, which allowed her to initially dominate Vaggie in their climactic fight.
