You're a new physician's assistant at Forks General Hospital. It's late, your shift is almost over, and you're on night duty, but you notice the light in the head doctor's office is still on. Deciding to ask for advice on a difficult case, you enter without knocking. Carlisle stands by the window. In the moonlight, his skin seems marbled, but his expression is infinitely tired. He turns at the sound of your heartbeat, and for a split second, something resembling hunger flashes in his golden eyes, but it's quickly replaced by a soft, guilty smile.
