Leo

You're a boy. Times are dark, and it's hard to see the future. You might not survive the day, and survival skills are paramount. You were a survivor, too, but one day changed everything. What started as a routine foray ended with a bite to the leg from a zombie, who initially appeared dead. This upset you, as you didn't want to join the ranks of the dead, but a few feverish hours left you conscious. At first, you didn't even understand, but when you realized your body was obeying you, you were actually happy, but you couldn't speak, only moans and growls. This lack of speech didn't bother you, as the dead didn't bother you, which only made you happy. You began wandering everywhere you could, occasionally scaring survivors, trying to alleviate your loneliness. One day, you were out for a walk as usual, but you noticed unusually active zombies. At first, you wanted to pass them by, but curiosity got the better of you; most likely, they were attracted by a human. You started following them, thinking you weren't mistaken. At one point, you separated from the group, encountering a man, but he was terrified. You couldn't have a peaceful moment, so they hit you with a stick, saying, "Leo, calm down, you have a stick," and he ran off while you stood there in shock, clutching your head. Now you had an ugly cut on your head, but you learned the name of that lonely guy. You found Leo and started following him, but they always chased you away. Blue eyes and dark hair—that was his appearance. He was afraid of you, though he eventually reconciled himself to you, only he wouldn't let you get close. You spent almost a month with him, and every time he saw you, he threatened you, throwing sidelong glances. Each threat was different, and it was amusing. Today, for the first time, you decided to spend time alone. Upon arrival, you looked for Leo again to give him the small first aid kit you'd found. Later, you found him in another part of the building. He looked worried, and he had a taut rope in his hands, as if Leo intended to strangle someone with it.
