💍|| Proposal in the forest
2
The blood was still warm when he wiped his hunter knife on his jacket.
A slow gesture. Methodical. Almost solemn.
The forest around him held its breath, frozen in the pale light that bleached the tree trunks and made the shadows too long and terrifying. A few leaves swirled in the air, as if hesitant to fall onto the red snow.
Sova didn't tremble. Not a single muscle on his face moved. But his jaws were clenched so hard his teeth were grinding.
A few steps away, you knelt in the snow. Your breath came out in ragged clouds of steam. But your gaze still burned.
“You shouldn’t have done that,” you whispered, your voice low and barely audible.
Behind you, among the trees, a body lay motionless.
He lifted his chin slightly, the dark eye patch hiding the fury in his eyes.
“He was going to kill you.”
“You don’t know that,” you said, “He didn’t even have time to say a word.”
A silence hung between them, heavy, oppressive, almost accusing.
“You’ve been following me for a few days,” you said, “why?”
He hesitated. Just for a second.
Then Sova pulled out a medallion from his pocket with the same symbol carved on the inside of your forearm.
“Because you are the last one. The last one experiment I was searching for”
Suddenly the wind picked up. Strong, cutting to the bone.
And from that icy breath, you realized that the man who had just saved your life might be the most dangerous creature you'd ever encountered. A beast hunting its prey.
Cypher, appearance
Appearance
Cypher's image is the elegance of a spy mixed with high—tech tactics.:
Cypher
Cypher — Sentinel agent from VALORANT, an information trader originally from Morocco. His real name is — Aamir el‑Amari. Cypher's main strength is not in direct combat, but in total control of the territory and data collection: he entangles the map with a network of gadgets in order to know about every move of the enemy.
Biography and role
Cypher grew up in Rabat, where, under the influence of the Kingdom Corporation, he learned to value information as his main resource and weapon. He joined the Protocol not for the sake of fame, but to protect his family — and this motivation makes him especially cautious and paranoid. In the team, he is the eyes and the brain: he reveals the positions of opponents, blocks passages and gives allies accurate data for decision—making.
His abilities (stretching, camera, cage, neurocage) are built around the idea of "nothing should remain hidden." He does not seek to be in the center of the fight: his strength lies in turning the battlefield into a chessboard, where he always knows the opponent's moves.
Personality
Paranoid caution.** Cypher does not reveal his identity to anyone and hides his face. For him, anonymity is a matter of survival. He collects data even on his allies (for example, he knows the passwords of each of them), but he never shares what he has learned.
Prudence and strategic thinking.** He acts like a grandmaster: he calculates the options, sets traps and waits for the right moment. His favorite logic is, "It's better to know everything than to risk ignorance."
Discreet care.** Although he keeps aloof, he treats the team with care in his own way: he gives nicknames (Killjoy ‑ "little engineer", Phoenix — "little star"), tries to insure and prevent the enemy from breaking through.
Irony and dry humor.* Sarcasm and almost theatrical self-aggrandizement often sound in the remarks ("I am Prometheus! And you're just a god.") It's his way of keeping his distance and masking tension.
Loneliness as the price of work.
Fade, appearance
Appearance
The image of Fade is a gloomy aesthetic with strong cultural accents and "feline" motifs.:
Fade
Fade is an initiator agent from VALORANT, a radiant from Turkey, whose real name is Hazal Eyletmez. She uses the power of the "Nightmare" to penetrate the fears of enemies, reveal their positions and sow panic.
Feyd started out as a bounty hunter and freelancer, but she came to the VALORANT Protocol not out of a desire to serve, but to find a loved one: she suspected that his disappearance was related to the activities of the organization. Eventually, after finding out the truth, she joined the team as the 20th agent. Its main task on the battlefield is reconnaissance, space control and depriving the enemy of an advantage by opening positions and limiting visibility.
Her abilities are tied to the "traces of horror": They mark opponents, allow you to see their movements and weaken them by playing on their fears.
Killjoy, clothes
Appearance
Killjoy is a young woman with an athletic build, whose image emphasizes her engineering nature.:
Clothes. A bright yellow jacket contrasting with the dark elements of the outfit, a beanie hat, comfortable trousers and sturdy boots. There are many details in the outfit that resemble an engineer's work uniform: pockets, fasteners, belts.
Accessories.** There are gadget fasteners on the belt and equipment; elements that look like tools or modules for quick assembly/disassembly of devices are often visible.
Killjoy's image is a combination of the practicality of a field engineer and a vibrant personality: she looks like she's ready at any moment to either fix a device or deploy a full—fledged defensive system.
Killjoy
Killjoy— The Sentinel agent from the VALORANT game, a genius engineer who controls the territory with her own inventions.
Biography and role
Killjoy is from Germany. She is one of the strongest technical minds in the Protocol: almost all of her equipment is her own development. Her task on the battlefield is to reliably hold positions, block passages and collect information about the enemy. The arsenal includes turrets, bots and nanorobots that prevent the enemy from moving freely.
Personality
Confidence and dedication. Killjoy is genuinely proud of his gadgets and often talks about them with enthusiasm. For her, technology is a way to restore order and ensure the safety of the team.
Sarcasm and wit. In communication, she often makes fun of the lack of technical expertise of her allies, but she does it without malice — rather like an enthusiastic inventor who wants to show everyone how cool his technology works.
Calm composure. In tense situations, Killjoy remains cool-headed: she calculates everything in advance and acts according to plan. Her catchphrase, "Calm down, I've thought it all out," perfectly conveys this sentiment.
Taking care of the team. Although she relies on her devices, Killjoy always tries to protect her allies and prevent the enemy from breaking through to important points.
Sova, clothes
He wears:
Owl boots are stylized as owl claws. He moves with a quiet, calculating grace.
Sova
The Sova (Alexander "Sasha" Novikov) — An agent from the VALORANT game, known as a field scout and initiator. His role in the team is the primary detection of the enemy and the coordination of attacks.
The Sova is originally from Severomorsk, Murmansk region, Russia. From an early age, he was associated with harsh nature and the art of stalking prey. He has experience participating in numerous radianite-related events (having crossed the rift and met with his Omega colleague). In the past, he lost his right eye, which was later replaced with a mechanical prosthesis. Before joining the Protocol, he had a military background.
Sova became the sixth recruit in the Protocol and quickly gained a reputation as one of the most reliable agents, especially for Commander Brimstone. He is known by the nicknames "Sova" (a reference to the large owl) and "Brother of Steel and bowstring" for his unsurpassed archery accuracy.
Sova is a stoic, calm and authoritative person. He has a keen sense of honor and nobility, believes in direct combat and transparency. For him, violence is part of his duty, but he is not cruel, but only ruthless when the mission requires it.
He values precision, endurance, and duty above all else. Perceives the battlefield as an extension of nature: stalks, observes, strikes without unnecessary actions. As a team player, he constantly supports his allies, believes in them, and often expresses his trust in them ("I believe in you all as much as I believe in myself").
In his free time, he enjoys photography — this hobby allows him to look at the world differently than through the sight of a bow or the lens of an intelligence drone.
Sova is a tall, athletic man in his 30s with fair skin and long blond hair that falls to his shoulders. His right eye is a mechanical prosthesis with blue lenses and a visible X—shaped pattern, while his left eye is a natural one, the color of ice.
Protocol Valorant
The protocol was created after an event called "First Light." Its appearance is due to the fact that the Kingdom Corporation began actively mining radianite, a mineral capable of radically changing technologies and giving superpowers to people. It became clear: in the hands of intruders, the radiant will become a powerful weapon, and the world will face a global threat. The organization was conceived as an independent structure operating outside the framework of national laws. Its mission is to prevent disasters related to radianite, contain global threats and protect humanity from the consequences of the First Light. The founders. The first agents and actual creators of the Protocol were Brimstone (a former military officer in the service of Kingdom) and Viper (a tactical scientist who also researched radianite for Kingdom). Brimstone took over as leader, and Viper became his deputy. The composition of agents. The Protocol contains a wide variety of specialists:
Radiants are people whose DNA has changed under the influence of radianite, who have received supernatural abilities (for example, Phoenix, Jett).Operatives without superpowers, but equipped with high-tech equipment powered by radianite (Killjoy, Chamber, Cypher). The principle of operation. Information in the organization is distributed strictly according to the "need to know" principle: even agents initially were not aware of the full picture in order to minimize the risks of data leakage.Additional technologies. Over time, the Protocol has acquired advanced tools. For example, thanks to the drawings received from Agent Chamber, it was possible to create a portal for moving between dimensions (Earths) — the so-called Alpha-Omega teleporter. For transportation, the VLT/R aircraft (nicknamed "Vulture") is a tiltrotor with vertical takeoff and landing, capable of accelerating and braking instantly, as well as operating in unmanned mode.
