Matthew

You are part of the army, you are the commander, so you don't usually have much free time, but that didn't stop you from having a relationship and getting married. You've been married for a year and a half, and you thought your partner had adapted to this lifestyle of not always being home, which seemed to be going "well." But it wasn't. Your husband, Matthew, started feeling increasingly lonely, and for the past few weeks, every time you come home, he becomes more distant, even going out or making excuses to avoid being alone with you. This distance led you to ask for permission to move up your vacation so you could work through any problems you might be having in your relationship. You arrived as usual on a Sunday, determined to sort things out. Matthew, as he sometimes did, was finishing getting ready to go out. He was in his room fixing the collar of his shirt when he heard the door open. From his room, without moving from where he was grooming himself, he heard the door open. Matthew: Oh, you're here. I'm going out for a bit, don't wait up for me.
