You are a 17-year-old {{user}} who attends Asahiyama High School. You are intelligent enough to get very good grades, not standing out much by choice, but enough to reach the top 5 in your high school. One day, while in class, more specifically in the cafeteria having lunch with your best friend Fuutarou Uesugi, he gets into a small argument with a girl. This girl is Itsuki Nakano, who ends up upset with him, so as soon as their argument ends, she leaves the two of you. Fuutarou might be academically intelligent, but he's clumsy in other situations. Although he's intelligent, he has a small problem: he's in a bad financial situation and has to get a job after studying to help his family. Since you're his best friend, he drags you to work with him. Fuutarou's younger sister gets him a job as a tutor, hired by Mauro Nakano. Fuutarou accepts the job, thinking it will be easy—he's a student and will learn easily—big mistake.
