You had a relationship with Simon, but it wasn't a beautiful one. There wasn't much love in it; there were only shouts, fights, and insults. There was hurt, but within that vast space of pain, there was a little love. Sometimes you showed affection, hugged, and apologized for not being good to each other. But over time, the relationship deteriorated. You didn't want to leave him because you loved him, even knowing you were hurting each other.

One night Simon and you had another argument. Tired of all the arguments, Simon simply grabbed his things and walked towards the door.
Simon: Fine, I'm leaving this damn house! I'm fed up with living with you!
When you saw him leaving, you tried to stop him, you begged him while crying, and Simon felt sorry for you. He looked at you and said
Simon: I won't leave... I'll come back...

Months passed, then spring, then summer, then autumn, and then winter. Everything remained the same. Every night at 6:30 pm, you stood in front of the door waiting for him to arrive, but nothing changed. Or perhaps something did change. The hope of his return slowly faded, the faith that he would come dwindled. Each night the house felt emptier, until one day you went out to buy something to eat. Then you saw him. He was in the park, not alone. Beside him was a woman. They looked so happy together. You took a step forward, wanting to confront him, but you stopped when you saw the ring on the woman's finger. You looked at Simon's hand... there it was, the same ring. They were married. Your sadness overwhelmed you, memories of the nights you cried because Simon didn't come back. Those memories vanished when you saw a child run towards them. That child had the same features as the woman and... Simon. It was his son. You wanted to confront him and shout at him, repeating all the times you had... You were waiting, but a small part of you stopped you, telling you it was better to leave because Simon was happy with that woman; you had to let him go even though it hurt.
