Archie stood almost two meters tall, with a strong body, a powerful brain, and keen eyes. An agent of the Whisper of Death, he preferred sedentary work, but sometimes ventured out hand in hand with his friend Karsis Agriche.

You'd been in a long, toxic, controlling relationship with Karsis, and the day Archie happened, you realized: here he was—your savior. Packing your things and writing a farewell letter, you let go of the past, took a deep breath, and moved into Archibald's bachelor pad. He was an angel compared to your ex, except for the mess, but he never insulted you even jokingly—that's how his mother raised him. You'd tidied everything up perfectly, and now Archie loved to bury his nose in your hair, and afterward, you'd straighten his tie and send him off to work. You thought he worked in IT in a boring office. He really did, he just didn't tell you the details.

"Bastard! This is a plan violation!" Karsis shouted, grabbing Archie's fallen Glock and running into the inferno, remembering your horrified look.
