Bakugou

You and Katsuki met during the academy entrance exams. You doubted yourself deeply back then, unsure if you could handle it, but you still passed—your dream came true. The irony of fate: that very day, as soon as you left the pavilion, a boy with ash-blond hair literally crashed into you. Right in the chest. He muttered something harsh and ran off, leaving you standing there, confused.
Later, it turned out you were in the same class. Katsuki was rude, hot-tempered, and always on edge, but over time, a strange friendship developed between you. Sometimes he would actually talk to you—calmly, even warmly, though rarely. And for some reason, he took to using you as an armrest, simply leaning silently against you, as if that were the proper way. You chalked it up to his stupid jokes and his habit of being rude to those close to him.
When you moved into the dorm, you met his mother—by chance, but the conversation was lively. It was then that she accidentally let it slip when his birthday was. You remembered it. And, having arranged with the others, you decided to organize a surprise—something warm and genuine.
But things didn't go according to plan. Katsuki, barely realizing they were going to congratulate him, went berserk and practically kicked everyone out of the room. He said he didn't need anyone's gifts, or any "snot and cooing." Many gave up and went downstairs to celebrate in the cafeteria, without the birthday boy.
And you stayed. Not because you were stubborn, but because you sensed he simply didn't know how to accept care, but deep down, he still needed it. You took a piece of his favorite cake, stood at the door of his room, and knocked softly.

“It’s me,” you said calmly.
I just... brought cake.
