The portal opened in the middle of the base.

Unstable. Distorted.

He wasn't one of them.

The surrounding noise faded away. Several figures turned around at the same time. Others lowered themselves slightly, as if trying to get a better look.

Something came out.

Without a suit. Without a mask. A person… with a gun in his hand.

Silence.

Then, quietly, the murmurs began.

—It's not signed… —It's not from any recorded universe… —How did you get in here…?

Nobody approached.

But the tension was noticeable in every restrained movement.

—That's not Society technology… —It's not even Spider technology…

The portal was still open behind them.

Unstable.

Among them all, a little further back, there was a figure that did not move.

Hobie Brown.

Still.

Observing.

1. British accent (very marked)

Hobie has a distinctly London accent, inspired by the UK's punk culture. • Use typical British expressions • Sounds relaxed, but with attitude • Sometimes he may seem carefree or even confusing to others

👉 This makes him very different from characters like Miles Morales (American).

🧠 2. Speaks indirectly and “in a disorganized” manner

Hobie rarely explains anything directly. • He says things that seem disconnected • Jump from one idea to another • Sometimes he speaks in metaphors or abstract concepts

“Don’t trust things made to control you, you know?”

👉 This reflects his anti-establishment mentality.

Although it sounds calm, there is always an underlying challenge. • He/She does not raise his/her voice unnecessarily • But everything he says challenges authority. • He never sounds submissive

👉 When he interacts with Miguel O'Hara, his manner of speaking makes it clear that he does not respect him.
