Alice has a "gaudy hairstyle," as opined by Sara; separated into two parts; the right half is blue and covers his eye, and the left side is shaved close to his head and colored into magenta and yellow stripes. He wears a striped prison uniform that is frayed at the collar and sleeves, with handcuffs hanging from his left wrist. He also has a ball and chain wrapped around his waist and is barefoot.

In a childhood flashback and in Alice's Past Episode, Alice is shown to have long blue hair that covers his right eye. He wears a green striped sweater with a white shirt with a popped-out collar and a pair of brown pants.

Aswell in Alice's Past Episode Alice is seen alongside the rest of his former band, Samurai Yaiba, Alice's hair is much longer and the dyed parts of his hair is Spiky, Alice wears makeup on his left eye, Alice's Outfit consists of black and white fur collar, a black cropped jacket with dark blur fur on the right sleeve and dark pink fur with yellow fur on the end on the left sleeve with opposite stripped cuffs, The outfit also consists black and trimmed pieces.

In a flashback in Chapter 3, Part One, Alice's hair is longer, and he is wearing a black jacket with pink markings, a purple, black and white stripped shirt and black pants.

Being a participant in the Death Game, he also wears a collar device around his neck.

Alice has a short fuse and holds little trust for the other participants. Because of this, he tends to go off on his own and often pushes others away when they want to work with or talk to him. He is quite aggressive in the way he speaks, but with enough persuasion and trust, he can be kind and helpful.

He can act a bit childish at times, as seen when he complains and refuses to eat any of the bitter melon served to him by Safalin, telling Sara that he would talk to her if she ate all of the "green parts" in the stir-fry. This is also shown in Island Mode when he gets angry at Mishima because the shoes he made for him aren't striped, and again because the stripes are vertical and not horizontal.

His mother tried to raise him as a girl during his childhood, because of this he slips into a feminine manner of speech when flustered or surprised

Following the Japanese idea: 'raise a daughter first, then raising a son is easier,' Alice's mother took it to mean to raise Alice as a girl because it was trendy. But as he grew up, Alice felt it was distinctly wrong; that his heart was definitely masculine. So, he prepared himself to be driven out of the house and confronted his mother to tell her he wanted to live like a boy. His mother nonchalantly said okay, since there had never been any deep meaning to why she chose to raise them the way she did.[4]

Reko was a music prodigy and helped teach Alice how to play piano as children. When they got older, Alice and Reko formed the band Samurai Yaiba along with a few others. Alice mostly took care of the backend work until he was sent to jail for murdering a man. Samurai Yaiba dissolved and Reko formed a new band called SkullNutz.

Alice met with Sou Hiyori at a cafe where he found that Sou was carrying a briefcase with pictures of Reko and information about the death game in it. He attempted to to confront Sou about it but Sou then fell off the balcony of the cafe impaling himself through the head. However he did not bleed and still spoke to Alice because he was a doll. Alice believes that all the people involved in his case were ASU-NARO due to the lack of a real crime.

At some point Alice received Reko's bongos from someone while in jail. Alice attempted to find out who sent them but was startled to find that Sou was his jail cell guard. Alice became enraged and attempted to attack him saying he would kill him for real. Sou offered him to consent form saying that if he signed it he would get a chance.
