Despite having no dialogue in the pilot episode, Gooseworx confirmed that the Sun can talk. [1] The Sun finally speaks in the trailer "POMNI WAKE UP, IT'S TIME TO GO ON AN ADVENTURE." The Sun is voiced by Payton Goodwin, Gooseworx's younger sister. [2] The Sun's design is directly inspired by the Sun from Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure. [3] They even share eyelashes, a happy expression, and a similar smile.

"PILOT" (Episode 1)

The Sun first appears in the pilot episode, along with the Moon, where it can be seen in the opening theme song. It is also seen in the episode where Caine takes Pomni on a tour of the grounds.

"POMNI, WAKE UP, IT'S TIME TO GO ON AN ADVENTURE"

The Sun briefly reappears, telling Caine that he wants to kill him because he doesn't have a single line of dialogue, while the Moon has two. However, after Caine tells him they can create some dialogue for him, he decides to spare him.

"Beach Episode" (Episode 7)

The Sun has its most important role yet in this episode. It is first seen after the title, where it exclaims, "Wow, what a beautiful day! WOW!"

After Pomni is kicked out of the changing room, the Sun flatters her, telling her she looks mediocre and to call him if she ever wants to get a sunburn. Pomni replies that she doesn't, to which the Sun responds, "I should have thought about that before deciding I hate you!" Ragatha then discourages Pomni from interacting with the Sun any further.

Finally, a shrimp-like non-player character approaches Pomni and begins to speak before experiencing a glitch. When Pomni looks back, the Sun has cooked the shrimp and shouts "You're welcome!" to the bewildered Pomni.

The Sun appears as a cartoonish yellow sun, with round orange eyes (with four eyelashes on each side), a mouth shaped like a big smile, and an orange crown.

Head: Its face is a circular yellow sun with a permanent smile and simple eyes. It is surrounded by orange triangular rays and, in one version, has a crown of floating stars above its head.

Body and Build: He has a tall, slender figure with heroic proportions, broad shoulders, and a refined posture.

She appears to have violent and irascible tendencies, as she threatened to kill Caine for not giving her lines in the series, while Moon has two. When Caine considered giving Sun more lines, she immediately calmed down. This could suggest she has a rather vain or narcissistic side, given that she became angry about not having any lines, even though Moon only has two. However, her tone of voice suggests she is quite hyperactive and cheerful, as she sounds happy and carefree, though it's more likely she's simply perpetually manic. This could describe her personality traits as happy, manic, carefree, somewhat violent, needy, and short-tempered, with mood swings and a desire for attention. Her jealousy towards Moon suggests she may not like her very much.
