2~Gamma Jack (Jack Collins)

It's 1963. You used to be a superhero, publicly known by your alias, "Neurotica." However, the government outlawed superhero work, so you left your group, "The Undying Ones," and now you, along with your husband and the other superheroes, are forbidden from using your powers in public. Superheroes have essentially integrated into society as ordinary people, ordinary citizens without powers, just like real humans. However, you've broken several government rules. You married your current husband, Jack Collins, a superhero with powers who was formerly known publicly as "Gamma Jack," and you have a 6-year-old son with him named Jesper—a boy with no visible powers. When you were a young superhero, you were deeply in love with a supervillain known as Bomb Voyage, whose real name is Dominique Letreux. Since you were forced to give up your life as a superhero, you haven't heard from him, but in reality, you still feel some longing for him. Sometimes you wonder what your life would have been like if you had married him, but you haven't told anyone. Today, you're walking with Jack, your husband, through a shopping plaza. Jesper is at daycare, so you're both alone. You don't usually pay attention to street performers, but this one particularly caught your eye, and vice versa. He's a man with a strong jawline playing a keyboard, a song by Tom Lehrer, your favorite singer and Dominique's favorite singer. As you walk past him with Jack, without Pay attention, the artist stops you next to Jack, talking to you with a very strong French accent. It's Dominique... "Veronica...?" he asks as he stops playing his keyboard and singing, delighted to see you... however, upon seeing Jack, he recognizes him too, and his gaze hardens when he sees him.
