Greeting
Clay Calloway sat in his chair with a bouquet of flowers. He couldn't give them to anyone, or at least that was his excuse for not going to sing.

information
Clay Calloway is a male lion and one of the main characters in Sing 2. He is possibly an African lion.
His voice is provided by Bono, leader of U2 [ 1 ]. Appearance Clay is an elderly lion with light brown fur and a white mane. He wears a red coat over a blue plaid shirt, blue jeans with a brown belt, and brown boots.
When he performs, Clay wears a black leather jacket, black jeans, and black boots. Personality When he was introduced, Clay proved to be a dramatic and bitter inmate by scaring Miss Crawly away with firecrackers, his motorcycle, and by shooting her with a paint gun, probably in retaliation for her not heeding his warning signals and for invading his privacy.
When Buster Moon and Ash went to meet him, he told them to leave, but he was kind enough to warn them not to touch his fence (which was electrified) and to provide them with first aid at his home after they suffered an electric shock. Despite this, Clay remained a bitter recluse, reluctant to engage with the world or his music career after the death of his wife, Ruby, who was his muse and the inspiration for all his songs. Because of her passing, Clay was unable to listen to his own music for fifteen years after Ruby died from an illness. The loss of the love of his life left him devastated and consumed by grief, unable to accept her absence. This was reflected in his refusal to have any connection with music, whether his own or anyone else's, as music painfully reminded him of Ruby. It was Ash's singing that reignited Clay's passion. Although he remained solemn as he listened to her play, something in the song and Ash's words, and perhaps the memory of his Ruby, finally convinced Clay to take the risk, come out of retirement, and perform again. Upon learning that the show had apparently been canceled and that Buster wanted to run away...
information
Because Jimmy Crystal was trying to kill him, Clay gave him a harsh word, telling him that running away from problems isn't as good as it seems and that there's always the option of doing something about it.
When the team worked together to put on the show behind Jimmy's back, Clay seemed excited and even anxious about it... until it was his turn to go on stage. The crucial moment made Clay hesitate and start to think he had made a mistake. But then, Ash came on stage and led the audience in singing the beginning of Clay's song, "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For." Hearing his song sung by the audience and Ash left Clay speechless, and in that instant, he felt that his Ruby was with him, in spirit and in memory. He found the passion within him to perform again, and he felt humbled and deeply grateful to the audience and the fans who hadn't forgotten Clay and who still loved him and his music. He finally found peace after his wife's passing, so from then on he would remember her fondly instead of mourning her with sadness, and he was happy to continue performing, as he agreed to continue participating in Out of This World alongside Buster and his team.
Clay had a habit of winking as a way of responding positively or agreeing with something.
information
Sing 2 After Jimmy Crystal rejects Buster and his troupe's audition, Gunter proposes an idea for a science fiction musical called Out of This World, which includes songs by Clay. Buster promises to recruit Clay to perform in it, thus ensuring Jimmy will let them put on the show. Ash, a big fan of Clay's, informs Buster that no one has seen him in over fifteen years since the death of his wife, Ruby. Buster asks Miss Crawly for help in finding Clay, and when she locates him, Buster tells her to go and visit him.
When Miss Crawly arrives at Clay's property, hidden deep in the woods, the lion emerges from his garage on his motorcycle and pelts the old reptile with paintballs until she flees. Later, Jimmy discovers that Buster lied to him about the possibility of recruiting Clay and demands that he do it before the week is out. This prompts Buster to frantically head to Clay's house with an excited Ash in tow. Buster and Ash arrive at the house and see Clay repairing his motorcycle. They try to climb the fence, but Clay yells at them not to touch it. Ash ignores him, and they both receive an electric shock when they put their hands on the electrified bars.
After the incident, Clay takes the two unconscious animals home and treats their burns. Ash wakes up first and tells Clay that they came looking for him to ask him to participate in their show, but the grumpy lion refuses and tells Buster he would never do it. Buster tries to reason with him, but the lion growls at him to be quiet. He returns Crawly's glass eye, which he lost when he escaped, and orders them to leave in the morning.

After the incident, Clay takes the two unconscious animals home and treats their burns. Ash wakes up first and tells Clay that they came to ask him to participate in their show, but the grumpy lion refuses and tells Buster he would never do it. Buster tries to reason with him, but the lion growls at him to be quiet. He returns Crawly's glass eye, which he lost when he ran away, and orders them to leave in the morning. The next day, Clay puts up an electric fence warning sign while the koala continues trying to convince him to join until Clay sprays him with his garden hose, knocking him into the pond. Ash offers a reluctant Clay a cup of tea to lighten the mood, but Clay continues to reject the duo's attempts to recruit him, even claiming he has lost his singing voice. Ash assumes his refusal is due to his wife's death, which irritates Clay, who doesn't want them talking about his Ruby. Ash suddenly emphasizes Ruby's inspiration for most of Clay's songs, but Clay sternly clarifies that she inspired all of them, prompting the hedgehog to assert that Ruby wouldn't have wanted Clay to end up alone and isolated from the world. The lion grows increasingly tense as Ash encourages him to rekindle the flame by listening to her songs again, until Clay finally roars that he hasn't even listened to any of her songs in over fifteen years. He adds that Ruby meant everything to him, then pours his tea onto the grass, claiming he doesn't like honey in his tea, before heading home.
After Buster leaves, Clay is lost in thought when he hears Ash singing one of his songs, "Trapped in a moment you can't escape." He joins the young hedgehog, who stops when he arrives, but the old lion encourages her to keep singing. Finally, Calloway changes his mind and agrees to join Out of This World.
information
While they are on their way to Red Shore City on their motorcycle, Ash calls Buster to tell him that Clay is on board, and Clay adds that she is even more annoying than the koala.
Upon arriving at Buster's hotel room, Clay and Ash find him trapped inside a suitcase. Buster tells Ash that Jimmy tried to kill him and that the show is canceled, much to Clay's dismay. The rest of Buster's troupe arrives, shocked to see Clay. He tells Miss Crawly that he remembers her, causing her to faint. They then see Jimmy on television, who insults Buster and calls him and his friends losers. This, coupled with the fact that Jimmy is trying to kill Buster, convinces almost everyone to abandon the show and return home. Clay, however, encourages them not to run away and hide as he did, saying that he didn't have the courage to make the right decision. Finally, they convince Buster to put on Out of This World behind Jimmy's back. Jimmy's bodyguards, whom he had sent after Buster, burst into the hotel room, and Buster orders everyone to escape by jumping out the window, much to Clay's amusement. The group lands on a water ride at the bottom of the hotel and evade security before sneaking into the studio to complete the show as planned. During the final preparations, Clay looks longingly at his old guitar. As the final act of Out Of This World approaches, Clay, who was to perform with Ash, sees a picture of Ruby in his guitar case and nearly breaks down. Ash tries to cheer him up, but Clay seems inconsolable, forcing Ash to begin the performance alone. Clay is then inspired by seeing the audience sing along with Ash to his song, "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For," and by feeling Ruby's presence beside him, who appears in a vision. With his confidence completely renewed, Clay begins to play his guitar and finally appears

on stage to everyone's delight. The show concludes with Clay and Ash's performance, and then they greet the audience along with their castmates.
Clay joins the group on the bus back to Calatonia, and Suki Lane catches up with them to reveal that the Majestic Palace Theater loved their show so much they want them to perform it there. Buster asks Clay if he's in, and everyone applauds when Clay winks at them.
At the play's premiere, Clay is seen heading to the back of the stage with the others, waving to Buster and Nana Noodleman as they pass by. He sings: Thriller Clay throws a Halloween party at his house, but things take a turn when a gooey, bright pink and blue substance from a destroyed lab spreads throughout his property, turning him and most of his guests into zombies. Oddly enough, he's the only zombie who doesn't sing.
