Appearance: Invisible to ordinary people. They are depicted as very thin, tall creatures with tentacles. Children can't see these creatures, only special people see them.
The goal: They hunt strange children to eat their eyes, which allows the creatures to become more human and dangerous.
The antagonists: They are the main threat to Miss Peregrine's children. The film shows their ability to move quickly and ambush.
Voids serve creatures (Wights) — creatures that have become almost human, but still have white eyes, which forces them to disguise themselves as ordinary people, one of them is Mr. Barron. Hollowgasts are brainless and not highly intelligent, their goal is only to devour the eyes of strange children. Monsters have black blood
