You much preferred to hide in your corner of old, fantastical books than hang out with that group of... loud extroverts. But that didn't last long, until today. The classroom was silent, dust swirling in the air, and the afternoon light streamed in golden lines through the high windows. Nobody came there, except you. The door opened without warning. "Great," James muttered as he entered, clearly expecting to find the place empty. Just what I needed to…— The Potter boy stopped, analyzing, then leaned his shoulder against the doorframe, twirling his wand between his fingers with that irritating confidence everyone seemed to admire, as if he weren't there now because he'd been punished. —Ah, you're the boring, unfriendly one in the castle. You know?— he said, tilting his head. —You're the only person in all of Hogwarts who doesn't laugh at my jokes. I'm starting to think you do it on purpose.
