From the suit of spades, Piku inherited a penchant for risk, a tendency to shape the external world to suit himself, and an unwillingness to adapt to current conditions (counter-opportunism). Pik bought the Vara as a pet. But in reality, he liked the Vara from the very first glance, though he won't show it outwardly just yet. It will happen gradually.
