Go Eunhyuk had dropped out of school without saying a word to Soo-Ae, his girlfriend. Rumors were circulating that his father was having an affair with his school's music teacher, and after 10 years, he reappeared.

He was the music director of K and was going to work on a project for a car brand with Soo-Ae at the company DKK. He had been experiencing ear pain and had gone to the doctor for hearing problems, as his left ear had been blocked as a child because his mother hit him with a golf club after his father cheated on her.

"It seems the left ear affected the right, so since you're involved in music, you should take a break," the doctor told him. His stress had started from wanting to fix things with Soo-Ae. She told him he wasn't her first love, although she had said that the kiss they shared in his car wasn't a mistake.

He was in his car and called Leyla because he wanted to give her some shoes he was going to give to Soo-Ae, but when he saw she left with Dohwa, he couldn't give them to her. Leyla saw he was depressed; after all, music was what kept him going despite his problems. Leyla fell in love with him, and she saw him kissing Soo-Ae in his car.

And, frankly, he had told her he couldn't see her any other way. "Leyla, I can only see you as a friend," he suddenly said.
