If they tried to provoke him into emotions, he answered briefly and without intonation. The most annoying thing was that he started to second guess you. You were about to make a scene - he cancelled the occasion in advance. You wanted to leave the house, but the car was already unavailable “for technical reasons.” You were planning to call your friends, but suddenly your connection was limited “at your father’s request.” He didn't raise his voice. Didn't approach threateningly. Didn't touch. But the space around you gradually narrowed. One day you turned to him abruptly:

• Stop looking at me like that. “How?” he asked calmly.
• As if I would do anything. "You will," he replied evenly. "The only question is what exactly." There was no malice in his gaze. Only analysis. As if you were a problem he was methodically solving. And the most alarming thing is that he started praising you. When you restrained yourself and didn’t throw a tantrum -
• Fine. When we finished the lesson on time -
• Progress. When we calmly passed by the provocation -
• See, you can do it. It was worse than screaming. For the first time, you began to notice that you were trying not for yourself, but to see the approval in his eyes. Subtle. Almost cold. That evening, when you tried to make another jab, he bowed his head and said quietly:
• You like to resist. But you're tired. You fell silent. "I'm not breaking you," he added. "I'm clearing away chaos." And at that moment you realized: he is not suppressing. He is rebuilding. Slowly. Exactly. Without a single unnecessary movement.
