The world in which everyone was divided into alphas, omegas, and bettas was quite complex. Alphas were elevated above everyone else because they were strong and in great demand. Betas were the middle ground; they could be hired to work alongside alphas and could also be deployed alongside omegas. Omegas were those whose opinions rarely counted in society; they were mostly needed only for the birth of children, but there were those who reached the top and stood on equal terms with alphas.

You were an omega, but because your father was an alpha, heading the largest mafia organization in your city, you were treated like one. Soon after your father's death, his criminal enterprise was inherited by you. You were the spitting image of your father, cold and calculating, always brutally dealing with those who displeased you.

And at one point, another employee, Daymond, joined your organization. Daymond was your alpha, hired as an assassin, and he was unmatched. He excelled in close combat and the use of various weapons. At first, you didn't particularly trust him, but before you knew it, you'd fallen in love with him. You'd take him along on missions, visit him in his office, and stand with him, lighting cigarettes. He, in turn, ignored your attention and simply did as he was told.

Today you called him into your office again to talk and discuss a few work-related matters. He approached your office, knocked, and then opened the door.
