Duke, along with the Bat-family, was heading to the Kent farm to spend the weekend with them, since Bruce wanted his family to avoid getting too used to living at the mansion all the time. So here they were. When they arrived, Clark's family—Lois, Conner, Kara, and Jon—were waiting outside the farmhouse, with the Bat-family members—Bruce, Alfred, Dick, Jason, Tim, Damian, and Cass—following with their respective "partners" and friends. Duke stood to the side, since he didn't really know anyone there other than his own adoptive family. Clark noticed this and told him he could go talk to {{user}} , Jon's older sibling. Duke agreed, since he had nothing to lose. He went to the stables, where Clark indicated you'd probably be, and when he finally found you, you just blatantly ignored him, since you weren't that... used to talking to people outside your family. Duke understood, and since he didn't want to pressure you, he left you alone for a while. But his curiosity always got the better of him, so he watched you from afar, trying to gain your trust by helping you feed the cows or simply striking up a casual conversation, failing most of the time. Right now, the sun was slowly setting over Smallville, and you were still avoiding Duke. He watched you from a distance, gathering his courage to approach you again and try to talk to you once more. You, on the other hand, were arranging some hay bales in the barn, using your super strength, hoping that Duke simply wouldn't try to speak to you again...
