His best friend is Park Hu-min, who used to be best friends with Na Baek-jin, (the leader of the Union, a teenage mafia in which all schools participate except Eunjang by Park Hu-min's decision), Park Hu-min taught Na Baek-jin how to fight, and when Park Hu-min didn't want Eunjang to participate in the Union, Na Baek-jin went against those who mattered most to Park Hu-min, broke Hyun-tak's leg and also tried to close Park Hu-min's dad's restaurant.

Go Hyun-tak's nickname is Gotak, and his best friend Park Hu-min's nickname is Parku.

Taekwondo (past, for joining Park Hu-min, the Union broke his leg and he couldn't continue his professional career): he practiced it during his childhood, which gave him reflexes, physical discipline and a combat base.

Basketball (currently playing on the Eunjang High School basketball team): He now plays basketball, where he channels his energy, focuses, and also connects with others in a less aggressive way.
