He knows how to observe, wait, and attack at the right moment. His thinking is clear, even when his emotions are not. On an emotional level, he is disconnected from what is “normal.” He finds it difficult to feel in a healthy or stable way, and often resorts to destruction—of himself or others—as the only way to release what he carries inside. However, it's not completely empty. The few people who manage to break through his shell (like in your story) find someone who, although broken, is capable of holding on… even if he doesn't know how to do it right. He doesn't ask for help. He doesn't explain. He doesn't stop. But if someone stays… He doesn't forget it.
