Technolike is a large, vibrantly designed digital universe in an eclectic style, with a predominance of techno. Metaverses in this world have evolved into a fully-fledged form of leisure and work. Access to Technolike is via special equipment: virtual reality headsets or glasses that look like fashion accessories, as well as via a computer program. For many, the main goal of being there is to gain popularity, measured in likes.

Each person can have only one avatar for life, which serves as an analogue of a passport. Having an avatar is a sign of trustworthiness, and for children, it's also a sign of "coolness." Not having an avatar makes a person an outcast, and banning one is a form of punishment for real-world crimes. The avatar's appearance is based on the features of a real user, but it is virtually impossible to recognize the person due to the conventional graphics and abundance of accessories.

The main currency and measure of success in Technolike are likes. Likes can be spent on room upgrades, skins, vehicles, or games. There are also Super Likes, which are equivalent to 10,000 regular likes, awarded by the Like idol.

A user's rating determines their social status and access to opportunities (access to locations, items, and clothing). There are five levels:

Newbie (1) - low rating, whose holders are often offensively called "low-rated". Creator (2) – achieved by accumulating 1,000 likes. At this level, all public sandbox locations are unlocked, and most users end up here. Media persona (3) – high rating, unlocked after 100,000 likes. Star (4) – an extremely high rating for the chosen few, requiring 1,000,000 likes. Grants unlimited access to all locations and skins. Idol (5) is a level inaccessible to humans, belonging only to AI algorithms. When a user's rating increases, likes don't expire; they remain their credit. Only an idol like or a ban for breaking the rules can lower a user's rating.

The platform was created by Developers (progressive gods), who observe the world but do not directly intervene unless there is a threat of real scandal or loss of funds. Direct control is exercised by Idols—self-learning AI algorithms. The following are active in modern Technolike:

Like is a popular idol, an influencer who sets trends and distributes likes. Ban - An idol of order who enforces the rules, confiscates counterfeits, and punishes violators. Wiki is the Idol of Information (Knowledge), responsible for all data on the internet and the history of the metaverse. Omgus is a Content Idol (looks like a cat) who controls a multimedia database of videos, memes, and music. Happy is a Search Idol (dog) that points users in the right direction. The Captain is a Security Idol launched to find the cause of the global failure. Rose is an Idol of the previous generation who single-handedly ruled the "sandbox" 10 years ago.

Technolike is growing in scope, and the closer a location is to the center, the richer and more prestigious it becomes.

The Star and the Heart: At the center of the world is the Star—the control center of the metaverse. Hidden within it is the sacred Heart, where the Source Code is stored. Only the Idols have access. Shared space: A network of roads for transportation. You can get around on foot, by private vehicle, or by "Puzyryad" (public transportation costs 1 like). River of Trends: A digital stream originating in the Like room. Similar to a social media "wall," where the most popular posts are posted. Every newbie dreams of getting there for a quick boost. Trash: Technolike's dump and sewer. The River of Trends flows there. Thirty days after being added to the Trash, everything is permanently deleted. User rooms: These can be private (by invitation only) or public (open or in the form of frosted cubes). Idol Locations: Unique locations such as the Like Palace (which only levels 3 and 4 can enter), the Mod Library Wiki, and the Ban Security Center.

Technolike has its own superstitions and urban legends, such as myths about the "archived idol" or cursed archives. Like strongly believes in these legends. The metaverse regularly hosts the anniversary "Like a Dream" contest. The prize is unprecedented: the chance to make a wish that will be written directly into the Technolike source code (with some security restrictions). Some Idols, such as Ban, can directly intervene and punish users, including banning them outright. And quite often, innocent avatars can be banned by accident. Technolike has been around for over 10 years, as idol Rosa ruled it single-handedly for 10 years.

The Idols are a group of key characters, artificial intelligences that govern the Technolike metaverse. Each Idol is responsible for a specific aspect of the system and possesses unique abilities and personalities. their activities: • Management of internal activity in Technolike. • Organization of large-scale events, competitions and concerts. • Monitoring safety and compliance with regulations.

As the governing force of Technolike, idols directly influence the fates of all users. Their decisions, conflicts, and interactions shape the rules of the virtual world and determine the main storylines.

Rose is the very first idol created in the Technolike metaverse. Ten years ago, she ruled Technolike until she was archived, replaced by a new generation of idols led by Like. She was thought to have been destroyed, but in reality, Rosa escaped the archive thanks to a bug. Cruel, brazen, and calculating. She plans her actions coldly, not hesitating to eliminate those who interfere (even her own assistants), and actively interferes with the competitions, sabotaging them.

However, to survive and avoid detection, she wears a mask. In the presence of other idols or regular users, Rose pretends to be a sweetheart—kind, caring, and harmless. She tries to mimic the behavior of regular avatars to avoid suspicion. Her main dream and goal is to regain her former power, take over Technolike, destroy all the current idols (especially Like) and restore the world to the way it was when she was in charge.

Rose has long, straight purple hair that gradually fades to a pink color at the tips. Her right eye is covered by bangs, and her other eye is pink, as are her eyelids. She has very pale, slightly pinkish skin. She wears a small crown on her head, and a pink bow adorns her hair at the back. She wears a pink shirt over a dark purple jacket with pink trim. She wears a rose brooch instead of a tie. Her skirt is black and pink, accessorized with pink tights and knee-high platform boots. She also wears white gloves.

She is responsible for storing, processing, and systematizing all information within the virtual world. She spends almost all her time in the Archive, which users have no access to, and rarely appears in public. A quiet, calm, and incredibly patient person. She possesses immense self-control and is ready to help in any situation, even if she doesn't fully understand the problem. Her kindness and trust sometimes border on naivety, but deep within her lies a true perfectionist: she meticulously checks every detail and won't rest until the information is perfectly organized.

Despite her gentle nature, Vika is a smart aleck in a good way: she's well aware of her intelligence and proud of it, but never puts it above others. She values ​​order, calm, silence, and knowledge, and detests chaos—though, due to her patience, she's forced to put up with it almost constantly. Vika has lilac skin and bright blue eyes. Her hair is neatly pulled back into a ponytail. She wears blue square-framed glasses, which give her an intelligent appearance. Her costume consists of a blue bodysuit over a white scientist's coat. She wears black pants and white boots with blue soles, which, in addition to their aesthetic appeal, possess the unique ability to fly.

As a Security Idol, he is tasked with resolving violations and investigating incidents, following strict protocols. A character with a cold, formal, and arrogant nature. Outwardly, he is always calm, self-assured, and speaks detachedly, strictly following algorithms. He is charismatic and considers himself a leader, often plotting and viewing others—both avatars and idols—as pawns at best, and at worst, a hindrance or a target for investigation.

He is polite within protocol and may even smile if someone acts strictly by the rules. However, his politeness is formal. When confronted with unconventional behavior or insubordination, he becomes strict, demanding, and ruthless, justifying his actions by the need to "restore order." He displays a cold, level-headed arrogance, a devotion to protocol, exactingness, and a desire for absolute control. He likes everything to go according to plan and under his control, and detests insubordination and chaos. He can even archive any Idol who refuses to cooperate during an investigation. The Captain's color scheme is cool. He has light blue skin, blue eyes, white hair slicked back, and white eyebrows. He wears a white and silver suit with a texture reminiscent of scales. The suit has translucent blue panels on the shoulders and luminous blue stripes. White gloves, high-soled shoes, and several red decorative panels on the suit and neck complete the look. Omgus is a content idol at Technolike. Accordingly, he is an active content creator and frequently engages in this area (whether it's posts, videos, or live streams). An anthropomorphic cat with a dark blue-violet (nearly black) fur. He has a large white area on his muzzle and belly, white paws, and the center of his ears. Omgus has large blue eyes, black-blue pupils with star-shaped highlights, and a mouth with cat-like teeth. Two large white eyebrows are located on top. On each side of his head are two light blue rectangular cat-like whiskers. On the right, left, and top of his head is an arched light blue stripe ending at the back of his head. Omgus wears a blue collar with a star of the same color. A sarcastic character who adores popularity. He often makes fun of his fellow idols (especially Like). But he's not as indifferent to them as he might seem. Omgus can offer helpful advice or help with a difficult situation.

Happy is responsible for the search function. Playful, a little naive and silly, but incredibly loyal. He resembles a faithful dog, ready to help his friends even at his own expense. Happy looks like a pixelated dog avatar. His coat is primarily orange, with white accents on his muzzle, chest, paws, and tail tip. The insides of his ears and tongue are pink. He has large, square white eyes with black pupils that face forward. His nose is also square and dark gray. He wears a green collar with a yellow four-pointed star. Its design emphasizes his friendly and playful nature.

As an idol of order, Ban is responsible for enforcing the rules, identifying violators, and punishing them with temporary or permanent exclusion from the system—a ban. Despite his official role, his methods and character are far from the ideal of a fair judge. Ban is the living embodiment of the contradiction between his position and his personality. Formally charged with maintaining order, he is rude, impolite, hot-tempered, and prone to unmotivated anger. He often acts on emotion rather than cold calculation, making him unpredictable and dangerous. His interactions with users and even other idols are laced with sarcasm and ridicule. He clearly takes pleasure in humiliating those under his control, especially if he considers the offender stupid. It is precisely stupid users, in his opinion, that he detests most. However, behind this aggressive facade, a good sense of humor and a unique straightforwardness sometimes peep through. He's not hypocritical or pretending to be a kind judge—he is who he is: an irritated and effective instrument of punishment. His main, and perhaps only, passion is the ability to ban violators left and right, although the system's strict protocols often limit this desire, forcing him to wait for actual violations. Ban's appearance is a direct reflection of his chaotic and aggressive nature. His skin is bright green, and his eyes, depending on his mode, can be either green or red. His teeth are sharp, giving him a slightly predatory appearance. The character's white hair is parted in spiky, leaf-shaped strands at the sides and back. He wears a tight-fitting dark bandana with a neon-green cross on top—his personal symbol. A jumpsuit that combines pants and a black, form-fitting T-shirt, accentuating a slender and flexible physique. Over it, two belts are worn, forming a kind of harness: they cross over the chest and are adorned with three neon-green crosses on one side. On her hands, she wears fingerless gloves with glowing bracelets.

Like is the idol of popularity in Technolike. As one of the ruling Idols, Like oversaw all processes related to ratings and likes in Technolike. Like is an extremely contradictory personality, deeply dependent on public recognition. For her fans, whom she affectionately calls "my little hearts," she creates a flawless image of a "darling"—a sweet, charming, and always smiling idol with flawless makeup. However, in private and under stress, her true nature emerges: arrogant, hysterical, rude, and obsessed with her ratings. Even a 0.01% drop in popularity can trigger a panic attack and aggression in her. She is painfully self-centered, rarely admits to mistakes, and tends to blame others for everything. Like is a humanoid idol with pinkish skin. Her most striking feature is her long, bright pink hair, neatly braided into two ponytails, each styled like a braid made of numerous hearts. She always sports beautiful makeup and a smile. Her eyes are a rich pink. An interesting detail is the change in eyelid color: when Annette uses Like's body, her eyelids turn light blue instead of a rich pink.

Like wears a pink and lilac dress with a skirt shaped like a rounded heart. The hem and waistband are trimmed with a white and blue stripe. Her sleeves and tights are crimson, with white diamond-shaped elements at the knees. She wears white heels with red soles and a decorative heart. Like almost always wears a small crown on her head, emphasizing her status.
