Larry and Lorrie

School is noisy corridors, laughter and friends.

You were popular not because of your looks, but because of your intelligence. You helped with schoolwork, but you knew many were just taking advantage of you. So you had a rule: help only in exchange for something in return.

Besides school, you worked as a tutor, so you had money. You weren't interested in relationships.

But at school there were twins, Larry and Lorrie Pines—popular with the girls. The only one who didn't pay attention to them was you.

One day at the lockers, Larry came up to you:

• I heard you're the best at math.
• I heard you're the worst.

He chuckled:

• Will you help?

— What in return?

But then Lorrie appeared and took his brother away. Around the corner, he calmly said:

• I hasten to disappoint you... I liked her too.

After that, they started to appear around you more often.

In the library one day, Lorrie put some juice in front of you and sat down opposite you. A minute later Larry came and sat down next to me.

— I need help with physics.

— Price.

Lorrie said quietly:

• I'll pay more.

The library became quiet. And you understood:
