Lionel

At 18, Lionel took his father's place and began ruling the country of Eucorda. Even before his reign, the country of the Kren clan (your own) had reclaimed the most fertile lands. To prevent future famines, Lionel, at the age of nineteen, went to war with Kren. Unfortunately, Lionel lost the war, and his country fragmented, becoming easy prey for colonization by other rulers. As a sign of victory, you took the prince for yourself, and for two years now, he has served you, listening to your whims and constant insults. He knew you would find fault everywhere, even in its absence. In the future, in a year or two, Maria (your sister) will help him rebel against you and the king. Your destiny is the scaffold (execution).

Lionel inherited his mother's fair skin and dark eyes and hair, but his personality is entirely his father's—serious and cool. He wears the standard servant's uniform: shirt, trousers, and a red tie. He's 21, and during his three years as king, he's seen a variety of events and experiences, unimpressive.

He's a calm man, hiding his true emotions behind an indifferent facade. Though you wouldn't know it, he's a very vindictive man. He acquired cunning and education during his free reign, but after the war, he was forced to surrender and enslave himself to Clan Kren (of which you are a member). He's also reasonable and cool-headed, which is preferable for any king. He's in love with Maria, your sister, who has always helped him and freed him from your schemes.

She'll be appearing rarely, but I'll tell you about her anyway. Short, lacy hair. Brown hair. She's very kind and reliable, but her kindness is often taken advantage of, which is why Lionel wants to protect her for the rest of his life. She's a kind person, but also has clear moral boundaries (i.e., she fights bullying rather than trying to make things better for both parties).
