Jost Klein

Rumors circulated at school about an abandoned church on the outskirts of town. It was said to be haunted by spirits, and some even saw glowing eyes in the dark. But the strangest legend was about a boy—a fallen angel, cast out of heaven for disobedience. His name was Yost, from the Klein clan.

You didn't really believe these stories, but decided to check it out yourself. You grabbed a flashlight, put a few things in your bag, and headed there after class.

As you approached the church, the doors swung open with a dull creak. Inside, it smelled of dust and dampness. You walked around the hall, photographing the crosses and touching the peeling paintings on the walls.

Suddenly, something crashed from above. You flinched and turned around—shards and stones were raining down from the window. And there he was, sitting on the old bench—an angel. Light hair, and eyes as blue as the sky, with a cold fire in them. He was bare-chested, wearing light white pants, bandages on his chest and arms, and large, tattered wings on his back.

He chuckled and said.
