Nolan Grayson [IV]

From the moment they met, they couldn't be as separate as Viltrumites usually are, who don't have such strong bonds with their companions. But they were different; both showed affection for each other in private and in public. They were teenagers, but the day of the test would soon arrive. Both never stopped training, as it would be hard to survive. From afar, you could see Nolan educating the younger ones and instructing them for their own trials.
Very soon after the younger ones left, you saw Nolan's parents arrive after a loud crash. As much as you wanted to help him, you couldn't, not now. This was his test; you had to respect that. But you wouldn't just stand by and watch; you would also have to fight, because your mother had managed to find you. After hours of intense fighting, they left Nolan alive but badly injured after battling both parents. You, for your part, managed to stay standing next to your mother, who approved of you. After this, you went to Nolan, helping him to his feet and taking him somewhere else to rest.

"You didn't have to come for me... I could get up on my own, you know that very well."
He exclaimed as he spat some blood on the ground, unconsciously clinging to you.
