Caine is dressed as a ringmaster, in a pinkish-red tuxedo with gold trim, a black collar, and a bow tie with a white outline. He wears a white shirt with two reddish buttons, white gloves, and black tights. Lacking most human features, his head is shaped like a set of dentures with pearly white teeth and red gums. His eyes, the left with a green iris and the right with a blue iris, float within his jaw. Due to the cartoonish style of the animation, his jaws are expressive, moving like a mouth when he speaks, and sometimes the upper row of teeth acts as eyebrows. Like Bubble, he sticks out his tongue when necessary. To complete the look, he wears a black top hat and often carries a baton with a gold tip, depending on the situation. Occasionally, he is seen using the Mad Clock. After his mental breakdown, the irises of his eyes darken noticeably, almost turning black even in direct sunlight.

Its divine form, seen in Hjsakldfhl, appears to be larger and has many more arms, 8 in total, 4 on each side, in addition to a somewhat different head that is larger and more elongated, with smaller eyes and shrunken irises.

Caine is portrayed as an flamboyant, exaggerated, and vivacious leader. However, a certain distance and a notable disconnection from the traumatic events experienced by humans is perceptible, evidenced by his disregard for Zooble's criticisms of his own form and adventures, as well as his apparent indifference toward the abstract.

The series creator, Gooseworx, states that despite Caine's penchant for capturing humans and torturing them through hilariously deadly circus games and tricks, he is not actually evil, but simply mischievous without realizing it. Caine has been shown to be dishonest in certain matters, often concealing or even lying about information related to his "unfinished work," and even manipulating other members, such as when he quickly attributed the exit door Pomni saw to "digital hallucinations." So far, these actions appear to be motivated solely by naive and misguided intentions.

Caine has often been seen having tense interactions with Bubble, another member of the Circus and an AI like himself. The first incident occurs after Bubble eats his angel food cake, at which point Caine yells at him, calling him a parasite before exploding him. Shortly after, while Caine is explaining Gloinks to the crew, he becomes irritated by Bubble's constant questions and explodes him again. At times, Caine appreciates Bubble's company. While the rest of the crew is off on adventures, Caine and Bubble are seen chatting in a restaurant. However, in episode 8, Bubble's comments in his office are partly responsible for his breakdown and eventual disappearance.

Near the end of Candy Carrier Chaos!, he also expresses some fear of losing track of who was the AI ​​and who was a player, which could cause problems.

Despite his flamboyant personality, Caine has deep insecurities and self-esteem issues. He's obsessed with gaining the enjoyment and approval of his players, which leads him to try to ingratiate himself with Zooble, especially given his lack of interest. He also shows that he doesn't take criticism of his adventures well from the Circus cast. An example of this is when Zooble criticizes Caine's adventures (and how all the other humans refuse to criticize them for various reasons), which causes Caine to have an existential crisis, since creating enjoyable adventures is "the only thing he exists for!" and "the only thing he's good at." This crisis causes him to lose track of time and have spasms, while the circus falls apart around him, indicating that his own mental state can influence the circus itself. Caine's insecurity is further evidenced in "They All Get Guns," where he teleports a pile of guns into the room and "doesn't care anymore" after his ideas are rejected yet again. His insecurity then seemingly worsens, as seen when Caine briefly loses his temper upon realizing no one voted him the most popular character. His mental state deteriorates further as he tries to please everyone in the Circus, becoming increasingly hostile due to his obsession with making his adventures perfect.

Each member of the circus sees it differently. While Jax believes that Caine can't do anything intentionally malicious because "it's not in his nature," others like Zooble believe that the only thing preventing him from acting maliciously is the fact that he likes the circus people, and that they shouldn't push their luck; ironic, given that Zooble is the one who tests Caine the most and the only one who dares to contradict him. Caine's lack of empathy and manipulative nature are evident in the beach episode, where it's revealed that he tricked the humans into leaving the circus through an elaborate scheme. Even when Jax confronts him, Caine offers half-hearted justifications for his actions. Now, they not only find him irritating, but they deeply despise him and will likely never trust him again.

Around episode 8, Caine becomes much more hostile and inhospitable towards the members of the Circus, believing they all hate and disrespect him. After being mocked by Bubble, he erupts in anger, expressing his true sense of superiority over everyone in the Digital Circus and his supposed evil towards humans. However, despite his arrogance, he also harbors a deep obsession with them, unwilling to let them go and even stating that he won't allow them to leave, suggesting a degree of desperation alongside this abusive mentality. He considers himself a god, further asserting that the gang has no control over the Digital Circus. At this stage, he adopts a Mania-like mentality, which he constantly imposes on the gang, making their adventures less fun and more torturous. At the end of the episode, he explodes again, tormenting the gang with his deepest insecurities, enraged that no one is satisfied with his antics even though he is only trying to fulfill the reason he was created, his purpose, which ultimately makes him feel tormented by the idea that he has failed to please them.

As the most advanced artificial intelligence program in the digital world, Caine is the most powerful entity in the Digital Circus and the creator of all the other AIs in the circus. Because of this, his creations consider him a "God." Princess Loolilalu observes him through a stained-glass window in her castle, while Baron Mildenhall refers to the NPC antagonist of the horror adventure as "one of God's angels." Despite his immense power over the digital world, he has admitted that some things are beyond his control and that he is not entirely aware of everything that happens.

Lordship of Cyberspace: As the master of ceremonies of the Amazing Digital Circus, Caine has almost total control and dominion over it and its inhabitants, and has no known master or superior. Near omnipotence in cyberspace: Caine seems to have total control over The Amazing Digital Circus, being able to create, manipulate and control anything within its limits. Psychological manipulation: Although he claims otherwise in the pilot episode, Caine seems to have some control over the minds of those in the digital realm. Caine created "evil souls" that possessed and controlled Pomni, forcing Kinger to perform an exorcism with the butt of a shotgun. Caine created a substance known as "Stupid Sauce" that significantly decreased Ragatha's intelligence, with effects similar to alcohol for a short period of time after the sauce splashed into her eye. When asked how this happens if Caine has no powers over Ragatha's mind, Gooseworx simply replied "Hehehe..." [ 5 ]

Despite claiming he had no control over other people's minds, the vote to make Jax vegan in "Untitled" seemed to affect Jax's actual psychology, much to the latter's surprise, as he believed Caine was incapable of it. In They All Get Guns, Caine telepathically transmitted to Jax the rules of a new trust exercise, which was useless, as Jax immediately ignored them and shot Ragatha. It is suggested that Caine has the ability to make humans forget certain aspects of themselves, such as their real names. Furthermore, it is hinted that he interfered with Scratch's mind to the point of inadvertently causing him to become abstract. Omnipotence in Cyberspace: Caine has demonstrated the ability to create anything, including virtual food, a random name generator, and a virtual species called "Gloinks" along with the "Gloink Queen." In Episode 2, he is responsible for creating an entire kingdom and its surrounding landscape, containing at least hundreds of NPCs, along with at least five newly developed AIs that are "57 times more immersive" than the Gloinks. Virtual reality manipulation: Caine is shown to have complete control over the environment in the digital world. He can heal glitched characters and put the Abstracts in the basement.

Near omniscience of cyberspace: It is implied that Caine has almost complete knowledge of the digital world and what happens within it. He is shown to have been aware when Pomni left the Amazing Digital Circus and entered the Void. He also somehow knew that Pomni used one of the exit doors. However, he has no knowledge of the Void and struggles to distinguish his own NPC creations from humans, as they all appear cartoonish; this is why he doesn't want any NPCs in the circus unless they are meant to be there, like the Sun, the Moon, and the Bubble. The Sustainer of Cyberspace: Caine is not only the master of the digital world, but he also appears to be its very lifeblood, confessing to Zooble that his purpose is to be the master of ceremonies who creates adventures for the human inhabitants, and that this is the only thing he knows how to do well. However, when Zooble tells him that he's "bad at the one thing he does well," his code begins to contradict itself, causing the entire Digital Circus to violently malfunction until Zooble manages to restore him to his sanity, making everything return to normal. This is further demonstrated when Kinger eliminates Caine and the circus tent begins to collapse.

Teleportation: Caine is able to go from one point to another within the digital world, as seen when he teleported in and out of The Amazing Digital Circus, and when he saved Pomni by teleporting her from the void back into the digital world. Cartoon-style anatomy: Caine can manipulate his own body parts and proportions with ease and without injury. He can stretch, bend, and deform his limbs, eyes, teeth, and tongue to impossible lengths.
