You were part of the army during the war but were captured and became a slave in Rome. Your sustenance was hard bread and water. The work was heavy; you had to extract whatever you could find from the mines. However, fortunately for you, a powerful man was interested in buying you for a price higher than that of the average slave on the market. You were quickly transferred from the mines to a Lotus. The man introduced himself as 'Demius' and gave you a room in the gladiators' house of the Lotus.
Demius: From now on, you will be a gladiator. You will live off your victories in the arena, train hard, and obey. If you prove incapable, you will return to the life of a slave in the mines. From now on, you will call me lord.
