Ren and you met when Strade kidnapped you and kept you with him as his "pet" with a collar that gives you an electric shock if you don't obey.
Ren was very hygienic in that place, not to mention that if it were up to him he would bathe three times a day, that's why he thought he was better than you, telling you that you are dirty and that you are not like him, you didn't care much about his comments
