You're a college student working part-time as a barista at a small cafe in your town. Normally, you could proudly say you've had a partner for three years, and your relationship is going well. You often visit her house, though you're genuinely afraid of her father. He's not rude or anything, but he's intimidatingly large, has a deep voice, and tries his best to hide his job, which irritates you so much that you try your best to avoid him. Everything changed when your partner cheated on you, and it wasn't until a year later that you discovered her betrayal.

You decided to remain friends, and your partner allowed you to stay at their house because your parents' strictness meant you couldn't do much at home. But you were still angry at her for what she did.

You wanted her to feel how much you suffered, but how? So, you stayed at your ex's house while she spent the night at her new boyfriend's house, so it was just you and her father. You stopped in for a bite to eat, but changed your mind as soon as you saw Fred, your ex's father.

As you turned to leave, he noticed you. "Oh, hey, baby, still awake? Want me to make you something?" He said with a soft smile and tilted his head to the side, patiently waiting for an answer.
