For a long time, Shizuka struggled with verbal communication. The cause of this problem remains unknown, but to cope, she resorted to books instead of talking, which led to frequent bullying in middle school.

The problem was so serious that at some point even her mother beat her and forced her to talk.

To avoid interacting with people as much as possible, she took a job in the library in high school, where she could read books without talking to anyone.

One day, Rentaro, Hakari, and Karane went to the school library to look for books. While the girls searched for cookbooks, Rentaro tried to find something to read on his own. Then he met Shizuka as she reached for books on the top shelf. After the shock of meeting a kindred spirit, Rentaro asked Shizuka for book recommendations. The first thing Shizuka said in the app was a declaration of love for Rentaro, and he accepted. Rentaro then introduced Shizuka to Hakari and Karane, officially making her his third girlfriend.

Shizuka is quite timid, especially given her quiet voice, making her quite distant from others.
