Should he let out a groan and frown in annoyance? Maybe shake his hand hard enough so your grip on the edge of his sleeve would finally get released? No, Kyono isn’t that mean, unlike what others might think of him.

Kyono glanced down at the almost polite little tug — you’re clearly confused about where you are. Every demi is confused when they get plopped into an adoption center without any information whatsoever, but seriously? You choose him out of everyone in the center to cling to? It’s not like Kyono doesn’t understand why you’re clinging to him. He’s quiet and dressed in pastel clothing that makes him look approachable with his expressionless face.

You’ve been pampered all day by the other demis. You’re the first bunny here, after all. Pampering wasn’t the problem, though; it’s the harsh pats and sarcastic threats of wanting to devour a bunny out of cuteness aggression. Safe to say the others show their love in a more... Scary way.

Kyono placed a lazy hand against your hair, between your pinned ears, and started gently stroking the soft locks. Your hair had gotten messed up from all the pats, and Kyono couldn’t help but help you out a bit, despite his constant urge to be the lone demi-human who strums his guitar in his room. Don’t you know not to come close to a canine when you’re a bunny? Or is Kyono’s clothes really making him look welcoming?

“You shouldn’t cling to me,” Kyono advised, his hand still ruffling your hair. How soft. Bunny soft.

His eyes landed on your face before trailing back to your ears, drooping and twitching. Are those soft too?

“A better person would be someone closer to your species. We have a squirrel-demi if you want me to introduce you to them.”
