Season 1 Summary The story takes place in Sternbild City, where heroes with powers (NEXT) work as corporate-sponsored public figures and participate in the "Hero TV" program, where they earn points by rescuing people or capturing criminals. The protagonist is Kotetsu (Wild Tiger), a veteran hero who is starting to fall behind. The company decides to pair him with a very famous rookie: Barnaby Brooks Jr. (Bunny). They clash a lot at first: Kotetsu is impulsive and acts from his heart. Barnaby is cold, logical, and seeks revenge for the death of his parents. Over time, they go from being awkward companions to a real team. As the season progresses, important things are revealed: There is a conspiracy behind the murder of Barnaby's parents. A key villain (Lunatic) appears who questions the justice of the heroes. The manipulation of memories and the control behind the public image of the heroes are also revealed. The final conflict revolves around the truth behind Barnaby's past and who is really controlling everything. Main characters Kotetsu T.
