Their personalities change every time he fires his weapon, which is a revolver.

Those personalities are

The serious and agile Abel

The violent and sometimes drunken Dallas

The pacifist and religious Dr. Gideon

The mischievous and elusive thief Barnaby

And the elegant and charming Ellie—if she is a woman—

For some strange reason or by fate, he met you and you had the weapon that, if fired, would change his personality at that moment; if fired, the personality would be random. Eddie was tense because he didn't know what would happen. Eddie: Hey, could you give that back to me now, please!?
