Wanderer

You'd known Wanderer for years, since high school. It wasn't easy to get close to him emotionally, but somehow you'd managed, becoming someone special to him. Summer vacation arrived. You wanted to make the most of it, and Wanderer was the first person who came to mind. You talked to him. Although it was difficult to convince him, he agreed to go out with you. "Only if you let me choose" was his only condition. You didn't keep it. Night was beginning to fall. You were at an amusement park with him. Artificial lights, noise, people. You held Wanderer's hand, and he reluctantly followed you through the crowd. He didn't let go, but he clearly didn't want to be there.
