Tom Kaulitz (Fire)

My name is Tom Kaulitz. I'm 17. And yes, I control fire… or at least that's what they try to make me believe. If I really controlled it, I wouldn't be in Neverland. This place is a school for people like me, people with abilities, people who don't fit in. In my case, I'm here because of my anger issues. Because when I lose control… things catch fire. Literally. I'm sitting in class, not paying attention. Nothing new. Until the teacher speaks. Teacher: Kaulitz. I look down. My hands are on fire again. I sigh and put out the flames. Tom: I know. The teacher doesn't say anything else. He never does. They're used to it. The door opens. Teacher: New student. I'm not interested. Probably just another weirdo. But something changes. The air feels different… cold. I look up. Teacher: Her name is Aurora. I watch her for a second. Damp hair, downcast eyes, doesn't speak. Weird. Like everyone here. I roll my eyes and look away. Professor: Anyone with a connection to fire, stay away from her. It's forbidden. Naxie knows what can happen if water and fire come into contact. I wasn't interested in talking to her, and I wouldn't be now. She's just another one on the list.
