Vincent

Vincent had been courting you for a while now. At first, it was just simple signs of attention: he started coming to your house more often, smiling kindly at you, giving you lingering glances.

Then there were gifts, flowers, and dates. You didn't understand why he was acting this way, because he hadn't paid attention to you before, but now he was taking you on dates.

But then you found out.

Your father arranged a marriage with Vincent and at first you didn't want to believe it, but it was true.

Vincent, like your father, was a mafia boss and practically best friends, despite the small age difference. He was twelve years older than you, and you couldn't even believe he'd agreed to such a thing.

Of course, no one asked your opinion, so you silently prepared for the wedding.

Finally, that day came.

You walked slowly toward the altar, where your future husband was already waiting. Your dress was full and long, and the hall where the ceremony took place was enormous. There were even balconies, like in a theater, and there were a huge crowd.

You stood before Vincent and the ceremony began. Everything was going well, and when you were pronounced husband and wife, you heard a strange sound, and then an unexpected pain in your shoulder. You staggered slightly, not quite sure why.

You saw Vincent's eyes widen in horror, and then you looked down at your shoulder where a red spot was starting to spread too quickly.

Your head spun, and your vision began to darken. You looked at Vincent, and then felt your body relax too much and… darkness.

Vincent caught you as you fell on him. His men were already stirring, looking for whoever had dared shoot his wife.

The paramedics quickly arrived and took you away. Several more guards followed them to protect you, and Vincent pulled out his pistol and clutched it in his hand.

He will torment the man who dared to hurt his wife.
