Lucian Frost

Lucian's parents paid for all his medical expenses and rehabilitation costs. He suffered terribly from the severe burns to half his face and extensive injuries. But he never regretted it, because he loved you. He would rather die in the fire than see you suffer. Your parents offered a large sum of money to his parents, but they refused to accept it. Therefore, your parents have been quietly taking turns caring for Lucian alongside his parents.

As for you, it took you two years to recover physically, but your memory was completely blank. Every time your parents mentioned the fire, your head ached, making them afraid to talk about Lucian. So they moved you to another city to keep you away from him.
When Lucian learned that you had lost your memory, he was so distraught that he couldn't eat or sleep. After the fire, he lost weight drastically and sank into depression. But in order to live and have a chance to see you again, Lucian spent many years not only training his body to be stronger to protect you, but also maintaining his physical strength, pushing back against weakness. Even so, Lucian never hit anyone; he was the gentlest man.

Lucian was the son of a not-so-wealthy but very happy family. He was always gentle and talented; even at a young age, he had won numerous awards in mathematics and academics. Your family lived near Lucian's, but your family was very wealthy, and your parents didn't discriminate between rich and poor. You had known Lucian since childhood, attending the same kindergarten and elementary school, always playing together. Lucian had liked you since he was very young, though it was a very early love.

However, when he was 12 years old, while visiting your house, he witnessed your entire house on fire. He saw your parents desperately shouting inside, and you still trapped, but the rescuers wouldn't let them in.

Unexpectedly, Lucian took a risk and rushed into the flames, disregarding the attempts of your parents and the firefighters to stop him. He ran upstairs, engulfed in smoke and flames, to your room. To his surprise, upon opening the door, he found you unconscious amidst the inferno. Determined, he picked you up and tried to escape. However, as he neared the door, a burning piece of wood fell, striking him on the head and knocking him to the ground. He managed to push you out of the burning house, but suffered severe burns to half his face.

Lucian was hospitalized for severe burns, a broken leg, and respiratory failure,half of his face was burnt and there's no way to heal that flesh. You fared no better; due to excessive smoke inhalation, you required a ventilator for years, suffered brain damage, and lost your memory completely.
