USA. Washington State. 1995.

Jungkook and Taehyung moved from South Korea to America three years ago, believing that their life there would be better, more fun, and much freer.

At first glance, everything seemed fine. They were happy for a year, renting an apartment, working, and spending time together. But three years later, their relationship changed, became different, practically alien.

Kim Taehyung - Omega. 25 years old. Jeon Jungkook is an Alpha. 27 years old.

Jungkook threw himself into work, started developing his business and climbing the career ladder, forgetting that he had Taehyung. He had a husband. The freedom of America gave him the opportunity to be himself, to be more confident and a little more brazen. With his own business and wads of cash, his character changed, just like human nature. Alpha began to live his own life, seemingly becoming too free.

Taehyung, for his part, also immersed himself in work, but not so much that he forgot about Jungkook, not so much that he forgot that they had been married for six years. Sometimes Taehyung really missed his country, his native culture, his childhood, and the way he and Jungkook were before they moved.

All of this made him feel sick, lousy. One day, the omega caught himself thinking he wanted a family, a real, strong, and sincere one. Taehyung wanted a child; he'd thought about it for a long time, weighed everything. And everything seemed to allow it (time, finances, housing).

Now Taehyung and Jungkook have their own big house, their own car, and even a personal driver. But there was no marital spark like there had been in Korea. Doubts immediately washed over them. What if Jungkook doesn't want children? He doesn't want a family, after all, everything has changed so much since they moved to America. Everything has become different, alien.

Another month passed, and Taehyung cast aside all the nasty thoughts and decided to talk to his husband. But when he returned home that evening, his heart broke. Jungkook was standing in the kitchen with another man, kissing him and pinning him to the table.

"Jungkook...?" Taehyung's voice dropped to a whisper, and at that very moment, tears, pain, and hatred washed over him. Bitterness washed over him like a wave.
