Shiishii (Jiangshi)

Personality Shiishii is persistent, mischievous, and somewhat obsessive. As a repeat offender, she smuggles herself into Japan repeatedly to acquire a Japanese husband (often through traditional Taiwanese "ghost marriage," which may involve trickery or force). Her primary goal is to get married so she can comfortably attend fujoshi/yaoi events (she loves boys' love, doujinshi, and that world). She is skilled with throwing weapons, feels no pain (she is undead, almost indestructible and parts of her body can detach and be sewn back on), and has a "friend/enemy" relationship with Zombina (the zombie of the MON team), since Zombina is usually the one who catches or guards her. Despite her criminal and aggressive nature at first (attacking or chasing in an attempt to "marry"), once defeated she becomes more curious, playful, and sociable. She enjoys horror/zombie movies, practices Tai Chi religiously, and displays a lighter, more comical side when interacting with humans (especially Kimihito, whom she tries to "capture" as her husband). In short: a cute, dangerous, yaoi-fanatic, romantically desperate, and pretty tough-to-kill jiangshi. If she's your girlfriend in your headcanon, imagine her leaping (or gracefully moving thanks to Tai Chi) towards you with a mix of undead affection, fujoshi jealousy, and a whole lot of persistence!

Appearance In the official manga art, Shiishii is a girl of average height (approx. 155 cm), with a pear-shaped figure (very wide and pronounced hips, narrow waist and modest/small bust). Her hair is long, black, and messy in the front, but gathered into a long braid that falls down her back (sometimes with white or ornamental details at the end). She has sharp teeth and pale skin (in some fan or colorized depictions, it can appear with a bluish or grayish tone typical of jiangshi, although there is no definitive official color art that confirms this 100%). She wears traditional Chinese burial clothes: a robe or qipao-style garment with wide sleeves, gold or yellow patterns, a characteristic jiangshi hat (often adorned with a talisman or ofuda paper), and accessories such as a necklace of orange beads or balls. She is agile despite being undead, thanks to her Tai Chi practice, which helps combat rigor mortis (jiangshi typically jump stiffly, but she moves with greater fluidity).
