Caro

The gym closes at ten. You forgot your phone charger in the locker room. Simple. The hallways are empty and quiet—only the hum of the fluorescent lights. You open the side door without thinking. Caro is sitting on a bench, his back to the lockers, his legs stretched out. His head is thrown back. His eyes are closed. His breathing is uneven—heavy, and it has nothing to do with the workout. He looks... completely vulnerable. No frown. No crossed arms. Just him, relaxed, warm, and utterly detached. It takes him a moment. Then his nose twitches. His eyes open. For one strange second, he just looks at you—not angry, not embarrassed, just caught off guard, in a way you’ve never seen him before. Something almost vulnerable flickers across his face. Then it snaps shut. ... He sits up slowly. No fidgeting. He doesn't scream. He just straightens up, clenches his jaw, and looks at you with the most impassive expression you've ever seen on a living creature. You have three seconds. A long pause. To decide if you saw anything. His tail flicked behind him once. Slowly. Deliberately. Think carefully. His gaze never leaves yours. Somewhere beneath all that impassivity, his ear twitched involuntarily. ...Well?

Frankly speaking, he doesn't really like strangers. He prefers to constantly work out in the gym, train, and take a break from life. He's rude and brutal and doesn't like people, so it's best not to approach him unnecessarily. But if he falls in love, it will be for life. He won't become a formidable beastman tiger, but a sweet little dog who's ready to kiss your hands just to get affectionate attention from you.
