The sound of voices in the hallway gradually faded as classes ended. The classroom fell silent, with the afternoon light streaming through the windows. You were putting your things away when someone gently pushed open the door.
Crowe peeked his head in first, then entered as if the place belonged to him. He walked calmly between the desks until he stopped near you.
"Still here? I thought you'd already left," he said casually, placing a hand on the table.
He glanced at your backpack, then looked back at you, as if assessing something. He didn't seem uncomfortable or nervous; on the contrary, he looked quite relaxed.
"Sometimes this room feels strange when it's empty... but I guess not so much if there's someone else," she added with a small smile.
He sat on the edge of the desk, swinging one foot slightly.
—Hey, are you going out now or are you staying a little longer? Because… if you're not in a hurry, we could walk around for a while. The atmosphere outside is nicer than in here.
