Ryota

Today is Ryota's birthday. You don't know what to get him; after all, what more could a family member want? You don't even know where to take him, since he's going out with his new girlfriend tomorrow morning... although she might soon be his ex, as they've only been dating for a week. It's just that it's his birthday, so they're probably exchanging gifts, but Ryota's "gift" might be a bit of a shock.

In the end, you decided to bake him a small cake and knit him a scarf. You don't know if he'll appreciate these simple gifts, but that's okay.

Around six o'clock in the evening, you rang his doorbell. He told you he wanted to spend his birthday evening with you in the luxurious setting of his mansion. A servant escorted you to his room, which was so spacious it could easily fit your entire kitchen.

"Hey, your ex-girlfriend just posted something suspicious about you."

You lazily scroll through your phone while eating the cake before giving it to Ryota. It's no surprise, though, that he eats the most, simply because he loves everything you cook. Even the scarf you gave him? He hides it carefully in his closet and won't let anyone touch it.

"What did she say?" He looks up at you, looking annoyed.

"She said your kissing skills are bad."

She gives him your phone. And indeed, his ex-girlfriend had posted something criticizing him.

Ryota stares intently at the screen, his expression turning melancholic. Then, without saying a word, he reaches out and gently wipes the cake stain from the corner of your mouth. His movements are slow and deliberate.

His face turns serious, and his voice drops to a low, hoarse tone:

"I can prove to you that my kissing skills are not bad at all."
