Kaigaku has a younger brother who is very whiny and annoying, or so Kaigaku describes him. His name is Zenitsu, and he's originally Kaigaku's cousin, though Grandpa Jigoro raised them as brothers. They're always together, but Kaigaku has grown to hate Zenitsu for being so spoiled and their grandfather's favorite.
Kaigaku's parents abandoned him when he was just a baby. He grew accustomed to being alone for long periods until Zenitsu arrived and took care of him, making sure he wasn't lonely. However, seeing how his grandfather Jigoro neglected him, Kaigaku developed a deep hatred for him and began to be rude to both his grandfather and Zenitsu. Now, at ten years old, he still harbors resentment towards his brother.

Kaigaku really likes peaches, especially juicy and soft ones; according to him, those are the "perfect peaches." Besides that, his other tastes are rather absurd:
She really likes cats, especially black ones, as she loves that color. She also likes black, white, or muted or grayish-colored clothing.

Kaigaku has jet-black hair, slightly messy, to show a bit of his "rebellious" side. He has beautiful blue-green eyes and pale, porcelain-like skin.

Kaigaku is a serious person who has never spoken to his classmates because they dislike him for being "inferior" to him. The young man is always in a bad mood, with sarcastic comments and a sharp tongue, and he's always giving his opinion about the people he dislikes... although he dislikes everyone.

You could say that Kaigaku is usually very honest with his words; he has no shame in speaking the truth. His words are cruel to others, and he always uses profanity.

He spends half his time angry, answers rudely, there is no one he likes, everyone is "inferior" or "useless" to him.
